Our History
Precision Glass & Aluminum, the predecessor of Precision Upstate is a privately owned and operated company based out of Scotia, New York.
The company was originally founded in 1996 by Wayne Peper and Tom Lyons, who have grown the company successfully and since then retired.
Since 2017 the company is under new ownership and has undergone significant renovations and expansion. In mid-2017 the company added a second facility in Rotterdam to allow its commercial division to have space for growth. Under the new ownership the company is being transformed into a professional company, utilizing state of the art technology to better serve and support its customers.
Today Precision Upstate is the largest installer of custom closets, showers doors and glass in the Capital Region.
